The service is designed to help companies looking to relocate to better understand the benefits of moving to the city and easily and quickly obtain information and ongoing support throughout the move and period of settling in.

One recent success story for the service is Lohmann Technologies (UK) Ltd (trading as Lohmann Adhesive Tape Systems) who moved to Knowlhill in Milton Keynes from premises in Aylesbury at the end of June. The company had outgrown their Aylesbury premises and had already found their new premises within the city but Managing Director Roger Churchill was acutely aware of how important it was to make sure his 25 staff were also happy and supportive of the relocation.

He called on the

service to provide support to his employees with the main goal being to keep his team together and persuade them to travel from their homes in Aylesbury and the outlying areas to Milton Keynes, a bit of a culture shock for them.

After an initial meeting, Citrus Relocation was contacted and made a presentation to staff about the city and the vicinity close to the new premises to reassure staff. Confidential one-to-one staff consultations were conducted to find out how staff felt about the upcoming move to Milton Keynes.

This support and advice has been deemed a great success as Lohmann retained all its staff and is already recruiting additional employees to assist with their expansion into the area.
